It's been quiet uninteresting around these parts lately, as evidenced by lack o' content here. Apologies.
--The Husband and I have been trying to get back in the swing of things at the gym, yet I'm not quite ready to tackle that #60 on the 101 list, even if I really should.
--The Newcomb folks are hosting a conference call to update those interested on the progress of the lawsuit against Tulane. Something a bit different this time, though, is that they're organizing some host sites in several cities for gatherings to listen to the calls. Yours truly may or may not have volunteered to be one of those sites.
--My sister-in-law and her kiddos are coming for a visit at the end of this month. I'm a smidge overwhelmed thinking of their visit, as it will be the longest we've ever had visitors and it's not as though my 9-to-5 will slow down at all. The opposite, really, as I've got so very much on my plate that it makes my head hurt.
--Continuing on the professional topic: a friend mentioned that she's sitting for the professional certification exam shortly. She's been doing professional fundraising just as long as I have and it makes me wonder if I should sit for the exam, too. Am I ready or am I just afraid of being left behind? Probably a bit of both.
--Pictures from our trip to New Orleans are forthcoming. Honestly. They've been put on the Husband's computer and it's on my chore list to work through them for editing (aka: getting rid of my famous red-eye), and then put some here. It was a great trip. :-)
--Today's our "monthiversary." Yes, we are that gagariffic couple that still celebrates each month-- 74 months later. All together now: awwwwww!

Congrats on 74 months! :)
And I've seen a lot of those lists on here lately... perhaps I need to make one. Where'd you get the idea from?
Happy 74th anniversary!
I got the idear from the Austin gals. If you go to the first or second post in my 101 tag, there's a link to the "organizer."
It's fun, but I think I need to edit mine a bit. Maybe a little overambitious on some things (travel) considering my 9-to-5, kwim?
74 months! I've never heard that one before, haha. Good for you guys!
Happy 74 months!
That is some counting ability!
All I can say about the exam is that I have a friend who sat for it after being a fundraiser for almost ten years. And she is the Development Director for a major non-profit.
Spectacularly failed it.
So be sure to study.
